Crystal Palace manager Alan Pardew has claimed that Wilfried Zaha must learn his lesson as he prepares to watch his teammates face Everton on Monday.
Zaha picked up his fifth booking of the season after diving in the 5-1 win over Newcastle United last weekend, and Pardew believes that the winger could pay an even higher price for the mistake as the Eagles look to fill the void created by his absence.
"At Leicester he should have had a penalty, it was a foul, but on Saturday it was a dive and he's paid the price," the Eagles boss told reporters.
"He can't play this week and now his place is in jeopardy because if someone comes in and does a great job then he might not get back in the side. He'll learn that lesson."
Palace can reach sixth spot by beating Everton.
