Former Stoke City manager Tony Pulis is reportedly reluctant to become the new boss of Crystal Palace.
The 55-year-old became the bookmakers' favourite to take the reins at Selhurst Park following the departure of Ian Holloway yesterday.
The Premier League club's co-chairman Steve Parish even confirmed interest in Pulis after announcing that Holloway had decided to leave the club by mutual consent.
However, it is understood that while Pulis admires the running of Palace, he is reluctant to take on the job due to the club's second-from-bottom position in the table, according to the Croydon Advertiser.
Palace have only clinched one victory out of eight league fixtures this season.
