Crystal Palace midfielder Jason Puncheon may retain his role as the club's penalty taker despite his glaring miss from the spot against Tottenham Hotspur last weekend.
The on-loan Southampton player put an effort high and wide during his team's 2-0 defeat at White Hart Lane, but manager Tony Pulis has hinted that he will not be stripped of the responsibility.
"It's been an experience for him, but it's like falling off your bike first time round. The quicker you get back on the bike, the better it is," The Mirror quotes Pulis as saying.
"Jon Walters missed two or three penalties at my former club, and I still encouraged him to take them.
"I had a good chat with him on Monday in my office for 10 minutes. The kid has had a bit of a kicking but you have to expect that because you are in the Premier League and it was a poor penalty. That's fine. We all get that. But we all get up and get on with it."
