Crystal Palace rounded off their Premier League season with a well-earned 1-0 win over Swansea City at Selhurst Park.

The first half lacked any real clear-cut chances, with Yannick Bolasie and Jack Cork coming closest to making a breakthrough for their respective sides.

Marouane Chamakh's close-range finish shortly before the hour mark proved to be the difference in the end, as the Swans failed to truly trouble their opponents to fall to a disappointing final-day defeat.

Here, Sports Mole takes a look at who impressed during the 90 minutes of action in South London.

CRYSTAL PALACE

Goal

Wayne Hennessey: Handed just a third start of the season, as first-choice stopper Julian Speroni prepares for his testimonial match in midweek. Had only two saves to make all afternoon, neither of which truly troubled him. (6/10)

Defence

Joel Ward: Did well to get forward and swing in a number of crosses, while also helping out in defence when coming across to provide cover. (7/10)

Scott Dann: A very quiet afternoon for the centre-back, which cannot be a bad thing for a Premier League defender. Had next to nothing to do, but did clear away crosses when needed. (6/10)

Brede Hangeland: Possibly a final appearance for the club for Hangeland, who came in as one of three changes to the starting lineup. Busier than his defensive partner, yet he was not troubled nearly as much as he should he been. (6/10)

Pape Souare: A lively performance form the full-back, who is perhaps starting to settle into his Selhurst Park surroundings a little more. Passing could still do with improving, though. (7/10)

Midfield

Jason Puncheon: Tried his luck with a couple of near misses. Received a strong applause when diving in for two tackles in quick succession to win the ball back for his side, which only went to highlight his growing work-rate. (7/10)

Mile Jedinak: Preferred to Joe Ledley in the centre of the pitch, he offered a calming influence to those around him. Created few attacking moves, but did come close with second-half header which Fabianski had to keep out. (6/10)

James McArthur: Was withdrawn 10 minutes before half time, which initially appeared to be because of a knock. It later transpired that Pardew was simply trying to change things around a little by introducing an out-and-out striker in his place. (5/10)

Wilfried Zaha: Looked lively for large parts, particularly in the opening quarter when he got the better of his marker on a couple of occasions. Needs to add far more consistency to his game next season if he is to take another step in his development. (7/10)

Yannick Bolasie: Much like those around him, Bolasie certainly had his moments in an attacking sense. Perhaps could have done more, although it was a decent enough display overall with his side claiming all three points. (7/10)

Attack

Marouane Chamakh: Had a couple of moments when he burst past an opponent or two before fluffing his lines when it mattered most. Just the one shot on goal before going off with yet another hamstring injury, but it ultimately proved to be the winner. (7/10)

Substitutes

Glenn Murray: Brought on with 35 minutes played, with his movement really catching the eye. Could not add his name to the scoresheet, but he will be pleased with his second half of the season as a whole. (6/10)

Jordon Mutch: A frustrating campaign for the former Queens Park Rangers midfielder, who was give 25 minutes here with an eye towards next term. (5/10)

Fraizer Campbell: Given just eight minutes to make an impact at the end of the game, which he perhaps unsurprisingly failed to do. (5/10)

SWANSEA CITY

Goal

Lukasz Fabianski: Will be disappointed to have missed out on the Golden Glove award, which went the way of Joe Hart, having had very little to do in terms of top-class stops. (6/10)

Defence

Jazz Richards: The two Palace wingers got the better of the battle out wide, and Richards' suicidal back-pass to Fabianski nearly cost his side a second. (5/10)

Federico Fernandez: Cleared away plenty of crosses which came in from the Eagles' widemen, while also dealing well with the more varied threat of Murray when he was brought on. (6/10)

Kyle Bartley: One of four changes for the Swans this afternoon, who were without Ashley Williams. Decent performance on the whole, but Garry Monk will be eager to keep hold of his skipper. (6/10)

Kyle Naughton: Similar to his teammate on the opposite flank, it was not the greatest of performances from the English full-back, who was given a tough time of it in wide areas. (5/10)

Midfield

Nathan Dyer: Offered very little at a ground he scored at last season. Was sacrificed in the second half as Monk looked to alter things slightly. (5/10)

Jack Cork: The ex-Southampton midfielder has been a perfect fit in this side since coming in, but you felt that he could have done more to influence the game today. (6/10)

Leon Britton: Handed the captain's armband at Selhurst Park and was given a good reception when departing in the second half. The club legend's crisp passing helped move his side up the pitch. (6/10)

Jefferson Montero: Caught ball-watching far too often early on, which gave the impression that Palace were targeting the South American. Picked out Cork from a corner to create a good chance, but too often failed to pick out a white shirt. (5/10)

Attack

Marvin Emnes: A quick turn of pace to get away from a couple of opponents got Swansea fans excited for a few moments, yet the forward provided limited attacking threat throughout. (5/10)

Bafetimbi Gomis: He had scored five goals in six games prior to this one as he ends the season strongly, although he lacked the support of his creative midfield teammates here, which told in his abject display. (5/10)

Substitutes

Matt Grimes: A Premier League debut for the youngster, who was brought on for the final 20 minutes of the contest. (6/10)

Moudou Barrow: Introduced in each of the last four games since returning from his Nottingham Forest loan spell. Did little to change the scoreline, however. (5/10)

Kenji Gorre: Given a chance following some impressive displays at development level, and he will now be hoping to build on the few minutes he was given in South London. (5/10)
