Crystal Palace boss Tony Pulis has insisted that his side will not get carried away by their aspirations to remain in the Premier League following the 1-0 win over Stoke City.
Jason Puncheon made amends for his penalty miss in the 2-0 defeat to Tottenham Hotspur last weekend by firing the winning goal against the Potters at Selhurst Park this afternoon.
Consequently, Palace move 16th in the standings, two points clear of the relegation zone but Pulis has stressed the needed for caution ahead of the club's final 16 games of the season.
He told reporters: "The run-in now, with 16 games to go, we've given ourselves a chance from not having a chance but we can't get carried away."
The Eagles face Wigan Athletic in a fourth-round FA Cup clash next Saturday, before hosting Hull City in London three days later.
