Crystal Palace and Fulham are reportedly set to battle it out for the signature of Coventry City forward Viktor Gyokeres.
The Sweden international is attracting interest from the Premier League after enjoying a successful campaign with the Sky Blues.
Gyokeres scored 21 goals and provided 10 assists in 46 Championship appearances, helping his side finish in fifth place.
The Sky Blues progressed to the playoff final, but they missed out on promotion, losing to Luton Town in the final on penalties.
After failing to win promotion to the top flight with Coventry, Gyokeres is believed to be eyeing a move to a Premier League club this summer.
According to Football Insider, Palace and Fulham are both preparing to submit offers for the striker during the summer transfer window.
After ending the 2022-23 campaign in 11th and 10th place respectively, Palace and Fulham are looking to build upon their mid-table finishes.
Palace can already call upon Odsonne Edouard and Jordan Ayew, but there is uncertainty surrounding the futures of Wilfried Zaha and Jean-Phillipe Mateta.
Zaha is out of contract at the end of June and is yet to make a decision on his future, while Mateta is reportedly seeking a summer departure after starting just six games last term.
Fulham, meanwhile, are short of alternatives to first-choice striker Aleksandr Mitrovic, who racked up 14 goals in 24 league games in the 2022-23 season.
Carlos Vinicius and Rodrigo Muniz are also on Fulham's books, but the latter recently returned from a loan spell with Middlesbrough, and it remains to be seen if he features in Marco Silva's plans.
Palace and Fulham could face further competition for Gyokeres, with Everton, Burnley and Wolverhampton Wanderers all said to be among his admirers.
A recent report also claimed that Rangers and Sporting Lisbon are showing an interest in the striker, who has 12 months left on his contract.
During his time with Coventry, Gyokeres has featured in 116 games across all competitions, scoring 43 goals and providing 17 assists.
