Striker Dwight Gayle has left Peterborough United to complete a £4.5m move to Premier League outfit Crystal Palace.
The 22-year-old has been strongly linked with a transfer to Selhurst Park in the past 48 hours, despite only joining United during the January transfer window.
It has now been confirmed that he will play in the top flight next season, with his former club potentially receiving up to £8.5m for the deal.
The former Dagenham & Redbridge player scored 13 goals in 29 appearances in the Championship last season.
