Crystal Palace have confirmed the signing of striker Andrew Johnson on a free transfer.
The 33-year-old, who was released by Queens Park Rangers at the end of last season, has penned a deal until January at Selhurst Park.
The veteran forward has returned to Palace for a second spell after scoring 85 goals in 160 games for the club between 2002 and 2006.
"I am delighted to be coming back to a club that I love and have a real soft spot for," the former England international told Palace's official website.
"I would like to thank the gaffer and the chairman for giving me this opportunity and I am looking forward to helping this football club have continued success in the Premier League."
Johnson's return to Palace will also see him coach the club's academy players.
