Marseille have reportedly returned with a second bid for Crystal Palace goalkeeper Steve Mandanda.
The France international ended his nine-year stay at Marseille to join Palace last summer, but a serious knee injury saw him lose his place in the team in November and he was unable to win the number one jersey back.
Mandanda is understood to be desperate to return to his former club during the current transfer window, but Palace are holding out for a bid of around £7m for his services.
However, L'Equipe reports that Marseille's second offer is once again well below the asking price, with the Ligue 1 outfit having made a £1.3m approach for the shot-stopper.
Mandanda made only 10 appearances for the Eagles following his free transfer, finding himself behind Wayne Hennessey in the pecking order after his return from injury.
