Torino midfielder Joel Obi has reportedly emerged as a summer transfer target for Crystal Palace.
A strong end to the season resulted in the Eagles securing 11th place in the Premier League table, but manager Roy Hodgson faces the prospect of having to make midfield additions.
Ruben Loftus-Cheek has returned to Chelsea while there remains a doubt over the future of Yohan Cabaye, and according to Tuttomercatoweb, that has led to interest in Obi.
The Nigeria international spent five years at Inter Milan but the last three campaigns have been with Torino, with 52 appearances being made in Serie A.
However, Obi only has one year left on his existing contract and the Italian side may have to consider selling the 27-year-old before the start of the next campaign.
Porto and Benfica are also said to be considering an approach for Obi.
