Crystal Palace have reportedly triggered a release clause in Fraizer Campbell's contract by offering £600k to Cardiff City.
Campbell has been repeatedly linked with a move away from the Welsh capital after the club suffered relegation from the Premier League, with Hull City and Leicester City both believed to be attempting to secure his services.
However, a move to Selhurst Park now appears to be the likeliest possibility as Tony Pulis looks to add attacking options to his squad ahead of the new season.
According to The Guardian, Palace are edging closer to agreeing personal terms with the former Manchester United forward, who is rumoured to have rejected the wage package on the table from Leicester.
Cardiff's offer of a new contract was rejected by the 26-year-old.
