Crystal Palace manager Tony Pulis has revealed that he is hopeful that Julian Speroni will sign a new contract at the club.
The goalkeeper's current deal runs out at the end of the season, and Wayne Hennessey joined the Eagles from Wolverhampton Wanderers on transfer deadline day. However, Pulis says that keeping Speroni is a priority.
"Julian has done brilliant in goal for us. There is no problem there. He is an absolute dream of a lad to work with and to be around," Pulis is quoted as saying by the South London Press.
"I think the club are talking about a new contract so, fingers crossed, hopefully there is no doubt he will be with us again next season."
Speroni joined Palace from Dundee in 2004.
