Crystal Palace boss Neil Warnock has revealed that the club is looking to sign a striker in January.
The 17th-placed Eagles have struggled for goals in recent weeks, scoring just twice in their last five games.
With Palace having already lodged a number of offers for forward players, Warnock is hopeful that they can bring in at least one at the start of 2015.
"I think we've made offers for a number of strikers," he is quoted as saying by Goal.com. "We have some good strikers at the club but we have to be able to adapt and change the system so we have to try and find a striker that will give us another dimension.
"We'd like to get business done as quickly as possible. You can't move quickly enough at times because all sorts of things happen so there's one or two complications."
Palace are back in Premier League action on Boxing Day when they welcome Southampton to Selhurst Park.
