The Czech Republic could be without Milan Baros for their Euro 2012 opener against Russia on Friday evening.
The former Liverpool striker has suffered a groin injury, which could threaten to rule him out of the tournament altogether.
"We do not know if it's just a muscle contracture, which would be quite favorable, or that there was a rupture," team doctor Petr Krejci told isport.cz.
"If he will be able to play against Russia we still can not tell."
Baros, who has scored 41 goals at international level, suffered the problem during a training session earlier this week.
