Fiorentina captain Davide Astori died suddenly in his sleep on March 4, 2018 ahead of the club's Serie A game at Udinese.
The defender had spent his entire playing career in Italian football, featuring for the likes of AC Milan and Cagliari, as well as earning 14 caps for the Italy national team.
No cause of death has yet been given by the club and all Serie A games have been postponed in the wake of the tragic news.
Astori was aged just 31.
