Paddy Power have revealed that they intend to pay the £80,000 fine Nicklas Bendtner received from UEFA for flashing his underpants bearing the Irish bookmaker's logo.
The Danish international committed the act while celebrating scoring a goal against Portugal last week.
UEFA, who have guidelines to prevent players from advertising products or companies, have since hit the centre-forward with a fine and a one-match suspension.
In an act of support for the 24-year-old, Paddy Power have vowed to take the fine off his hands.
"We can't do anything about UEFA's chilled-out attitude to racism or political oppression, but we can do something about the Pantsgate," a statement read on the Paddy Power website. "We've decided to foot the bill for the fine. Paddy Power are paying the massively over-the-top €100,000 (£80,600) fine."
It is not yet known whether Bendtner will appeal UEFA's decision.
