Deportivo La Coruna are reportedly considering an approach for Blackpool boss Jose Riga.
The Spanish outfit, who earned promotion to La Liga last season, parted company with Fernando Vasquez on Tuesday, and it is believed that Riga has emerged as a shock candidate for the vacant position.
According to Sky Sports News, despite only taking over at Bloomfield Road earlier this summer, Riga has already encountered problems over his backroom staff while attempts to strengthen his squad have been restricted.
That could see the 56-year-old, who can count stints with Standard Liege and AC Milan's youth team on his CV, tempted by a move to Spain, although it is unclear whether Blackpool would accept any forthcoming enquiries from the former Champions League semi-finalists.
