Deportivo La Coruna have named Victor Fernandez as their new manager.
The 53-year-old takes over at the newly-promoted La Liga outfit following the sacking of Fernando Vazquez earlier this week.
Fernandez, who guided Real Zaragoza to the Copa del Rey and UEFA Cup Winners' Cup in the 1990s, also names Tenerife, Celta Vigo, Real Betis, Porto and Gent among his former clubs.
The news of Vazquez's dismissal came as a surprise, given that he helped Deportivo win promotion to the top flight last season with a second-place finish in the Segunda Division.
