Doncaster Rovers boss Paul Dickov has revealed that new signing Marc de val Fernandez could miss the first two months of the season with a knee injury.
The 23-year-old, who has previously played for Real Madrid C, has torn a medial ligament in his knee, but will not undergo surgery this summer.
"The specialists are saying 10 weeks but knowing Marc and the determination he's got he's already telling me he's going to be early, but that's the sort of kid he is," Dickov told the club's official website.
Fernandez has also previously represented Espanyol.
