Billy Sharp has said that he cannot wait to start playing for Doncaster Rovers after returning to the club on loan.
The 27-year-old rejoined the Championship side on Wednesday, two years after leaving to join parent club Southampton.
"I just want to play football so hopefully I can come and score a lot of goals again," Sharp told Clubcall.com. "I had my heart set on coming here and I made sure I made it happened from my side.
"The gaffer has worked hard along with the team and the board and I'm just delighted to be on board again. I just want to come here, help the team out and get them climbing the table."
Sharp spent last season on loan at Nottingham Forest and the first half of this season at Reading.
