Doncaster Rovers manager Paul Dickov believes that his side will benefit from the signing of experienced defender Abdoulaye Meite.
Meite has joined the Championship side, subject to international clearance, on a deal until the end of the season, and Dickov has insisted that the 33-year-old can become an influential figure at the Keepmoat Stadium.
The 41-year-old told the club's official website: "He's such an experienced defender and played a lot of games at a high level with Marseille in France, Bolton Wanderers and West Bromwich Albion.
"We are probably missing that little bit of experience at the minute and Abdoulaye will definitely bring that.
Meite had been available on a free transfer since leaving FC Honka in October.
