Championship side Doncaster Rovers have agreed to re-sign former midfielder Martin Woods on a short-term contract.
The 27-year-old has recently been training with Paul Dickov's side and is now thought to have provisionally agreed a deal that will keep him at the club until January 2014.
Woods was released in the summer having spent six years at the club, but failed to find a new team despite having trials with the likes of Bristol City, Chesterfield and St Johnstone after leaving.
Doncaster are currently 19th in the Championship table.
