The Scottish Football Association have announced that Dundee United defender Gavin Gunning's three-match ban for violent conduct has been upheld.
The club lodged an appeal against the suspension, which was issued to Gunning after appearing to kick out at Celtic's Virgil van Dijk.
Following the Scottish outfit's attempts to have the ban rescinded, the SFA have announced that they have enough evidence to justify their original three-match ban.
The incident occurred during Dundee's 1-0 defeat to Celtic last Saturday.
