Valencia manager Gary Neville has earned a 1-1 draw against Eibar in his first league game in charge of Los Che, as both sides finished with 10 men.
Eibar started brightly and it was Keko who crafted the best opportunity of the first half as he flashed the ball across the box and Sergi Enrich was at the back post to tap it home, only to be denied Jaume Domenech.
The home side got themselves in front just before the break as Cana outpaced the left-back, and Enrich was on the end of a cross again but this time Domenech could not keep out the finish.
In the second half, Eibar had the chance to pull further ahead after they were awarded a soft penalty for an elbow from Lucas Orban, who was sent off for the foul, but Domenech saved Berjon Perez Saul's spot kick.
They were made to pay in the final few minutes as Alvaro Negredo held it up outside the box, the Spaniard played it towards Paco Alcacer but the ball was bundled home by the Eibar defender David Junca.
In added time, Ivan Ramis was sent off as he brought down Alcacer when he was clean through on goal and the forward could not get the resulting free kick on target.
The draw sees Valencia remain 10th in La Liga, while Eibar stay in eighth.
