Elche boss Fran Escriba is reportedly considering dropping goalkeeper Manu Herrera following a series of under-par performances in recent weeks.
The 32-year-old, who came through the Real Madrid youth academy, has been with the Spanish outfit since 2012, but his performances have dipped after a strong start to the campaign.
According to reports in Spain, Escriba is preparing to drop the experienced keeper in favour of Tono Martinez, who joined the club from Granada at the beginning of the campaign.
Elche, who sit 11th in the La Liga table, return to league action away to Levante on December 15.
