England Under-21s boss Gareth Southgate is hopeful that Saido Berahino will have the support of the home crowd for his side's crunch playoff clash against Croatia.
The Three Lions play their first leg of the playoff for qualification for the European Under-21 Championships next year at Molineux, home of Wolverhampton Wanderers, on Friday.
Southgate is confident that Berahino will have the backing of the home crowd despite playing for their bitter rivals West Bromwich Albion.
He told reporters: "I would hope that, in an England shirt, Saido will get a suitable reception and the fans get behind him.
"Then when he comes back with West Brom... they hammer him like they should! That's football. I hope the local fans will be able to put their club allegiance to one side just for one night."
Berahino has scored five goals for the Baggies in the Premier League this season.
