Leicester City defender Liam Moore has insisted that he and his England Under-21s teammates have just one aim for the European Championships, and that is to win the tournament.
Gareth Southgate's side will open their campaign in the Czech Republic with a Group B clash against Portugal next Thursday.
As the tournament grows nearer, Moore has claimed that every player in the squad is working hard in training with the hope of nabbing a spot in the first XI.
"Each of us know the Championships are just around the corner," TheFA.com quotes Moore as saying. "We are literally in the last week now to nail down a shirt.
"We are really good friends, we spent a lot of time together at the end of last season and there is a lot of banter. But there is also one aim, which is to win.
"There is no thinking we might just make it through the group stages. We are 100% going to this tournament to win it."
England will also face Sweden and Italy in the group stage.
