England captain Steven Gerrard has insisted that he has not given the quarter-finals of Euro 2012 a second thought.
The Three Lions take on co-hosts Ukraine tomorrow evening knowing that avoiding defeat will book their place in the final eight, where they will take on either defending champions Spain, Italy or Croatia.
However, midfielder Gerrard is only concerned with collecting three points from the Ukraine clash.
"The aim is always to finish top of the group," he told a press conference. "It is important we do not get ahead of ourselves and start worrying about who we can meet in the quarter-finals.
"There is a very important and very difficult job to do tomorrow night first. The aim is to win the game and see where that takes us."
England are currently second in Group D.
