Manchester City midfielder James Milner believes that the England squad will benefit from Gary Neville's wealth of experience.
The former Manchester United and Three Lions defender has joined up with Roy Hodgson as part of the national side's coaching staff for the next four years.
The 37-year-old took part in England's open training session at the Etihad Stadium today ahead of the Three Lions' Euro 2012 warm-up friendly against Norway this Saturday.
"It is great to have him involved," said Milner. "He will bring a lot to the squad. His experiences as a player at club and international level can only help. He will say it how it is and also say what isn't easy to at times and I think that is invaluable to have that."
Meanwhile, Liverpool full-back Glen Johnson sparked injury fears by sitting out of today's session with an infected toe.
