England winger Theo Walcott has reiterated Wayne Rooney's desire to get involved in Euro 2012 now that his suspension has ended.
Walcott, who scored England's equaliser in last night's 3-2 win over Sweden, believes that manager Roy Hodgson will find it very hard not to start Rooney at the very first opportunity against Ukraine.
"It would be tough to leave him out but that's the manager's decision. We'll see what happens," Walcott said.
"I am sure Wayne will get his opportunity. He will want to make it up to all of the lads. He is such a world-class player."
Just one point separates the top three teams in Group D ahead of the final round of fixtures on Tuesday.
