England boss Roy Hodgson is confident that Danny Welbeck will continue to enhance his striking credentials in the Three Lions' upcoming Euro 2016 qualifiers.
The Arsenal forward is likely to lead the line against San Marino and Estonia in the absence of Liverpool hitman Daniel Sturridge.
Welbeck, who scored both goals in the 2-0 win away to Switzerland last month, has shone in a centre-forward role since joining the Gunners, a run of form that Hodgson expects to continue on international duty.
"I'm pleased for Danny. It's great now that he's made his move and he has taken that chance," he told reporters.
"He's a player I have always followed very closely and with Daniel Sturridge injured he will get his chance."
Tonight's clash away to San Marino is expected to kickoff at 7.45pm.
