Daniel Sturridge and Gary Cahill both sat out of England's training session on Wednesday ahead of the upcoming friendly against Australia.
Sturridge, who arrived late with his fellow Liverpool teammates, has picked up an unspecified knock, while Cahill required injections ahead of Sunday's 2-1 win over Turkey.
However, both players only missed the session as a precaution and they are expected to be fit in time to face the Socceroos at the Stadium of Light on Friday.
The match is the last one before manager Roy Hodgson must cut three players from his provisional 26-man roster and finalise his squad for Euro 2016.
Jamie Vardy was also missing having taken time off to get married, while his Leicester City teammate Danny Drinkwater attended the ceremony but returned in time to participate in training.
Hodgson is expected to hand an international debut to Manchester United youngster Marcus Rashford during Friday's match in Sunderland.
