England manager Fabio Capello believes that racism does not exist in English football.
The Italian revealed on Saturday night that he would select captain John Terry for the upcoming friendlies against Spain and Sweden, despite the Chelsea defender currently being under investigation by the Football Association and the Metropolitan Police over alleged racist remarks he made to QPR defender Anton Ferdinand.
"I have never seen or heard racism in English football," said Capello. "The fans may boo but never because of racism.
"I think he [Terry] is innocent until proved guilty."
England host World and European champions Spain at Wembley next Saturday before a match against Sweden three days later.
