England will welcome former world champions Spain to Wembley Stadium on November 15 for their final fixture of 2016.
The Three Lions take on the three-time European Cup winners four days after a big meeting with Scotland in World Cup 2018 qualifying.
Spain will be under new management after recently appointing Julen Lopetegui as their head coach, taking over from Vicente del Bosque who stepped down last month following a hugely successful stint in charge.
The teams have met on 24 previous occasions, with England winning 12 of those to their opponents' nine, and it was La Roja who came out on top in the last meeting as they ran out 2-0 winners at the Estadio Jose Rico Perez in November 2015.
Sam Allardyce takes charge of England for the first time next month when England travel to Slovakia for their opening qualifying fixture.
