England have risen one place to seventh in the latest FIFA world rankings.
The move comes after their 2-2 draw with Montenegro, which earned them a place in next year's European Championship finals.
Meanwhile, Wales have lept from 90th place up to 45th after a successful end to their Euro 2012 qualifying campaign, despite their failure to reach the tournament.
Scotland have moved up a solitary place to 51st, while the Republic of Ireland move up four places into 25th.
However, Northern Ireland have dropped 14 places into 84th after their defeat to Estonia earlier this month.
World champions Spain remain top of the rankings, followed by Holland, Germany and Uruguay.
