The Football Association have confirmed that Friday's World Cup qualifier between England and San Marino at Wembley is a sell-out.
San Marino, who have won just one match in their international history, are ranked bottom of the latest FIFA standings.
Nevertheless, 90,000 people will be in attendance to see England take on the minnows.
Those who volunteered at the recent Olympic Games in London were offered tickets for a price of £20.12. It is believed that around 8,000 people took up that offer.
"I'd like to thank the supporters once again on behalf of the England team for your wonderful support," said England manager Roy Hodgson. "This is only my third match in charge at Wembley and I know that it is set to be another huge crowd.
"That is a great tribute to the magnificent support the national team enjoys in this country and it is something that I am proud to be part of and is certainly not something anyone takes for granted.
"It has a terrific impact on players to have a passionate home support turning out and backing them all the way, which hopefully can help us along this qualification campaign."
Only 68,000 people turned up to see England's last home match against Ukraine.
