England coach Roy Hodgson has placed five players on standby for Euro 2012.
Birmingham City's young goalkeeper Jack Butland has been handed a place on the list, as have Everton defender Phil Jagielka and Liverpool's Jordan Henderson.
Manchester City winger Adam Johnson and Chelsea centre-forward Daniel Sturridge complete the list of potential replacements.
The new boss named a 23-man squad for the tournament earlier this afternoon.
He will be holding a press conference at 2pm today where he is expected to discuss his decisions with the media.
