England captain Steven Gerrard has insisted that England must first focus on Moldova rather than their match with Ukraine on Tuesday night.
England are odds-on favourites to beat Moldova on Friday night ahead of a tougher test against Ukraine on Tuesday, but Gerrard believes that England should fully concentrate on picking up three points in Moldova.
Gerrard told reporters: "The idea is that we can secure six points this week, but we have to focus on Moldova first.
"We are confident that even with the injuries, we have the players out to get the three points."
England will also face Montenegro, Poland and San Marino as they look to qualify for the 2014 World Cup in Brazil.
