Brent Hills will stay in charge of the England women's team for at least two more matches.
Hills, who was given temporary charge of the side following Hope Powell's dismissal in August, has led the team to two victories over Belarus and Turkey.
He will now oversee the upcoming matches against Wales and Turkey before the FA make a decision on who will be Powell's permanent successor.
"Taking charge of my country for those two games was a real honour. I enjoyed every minute of it and I'm sure I will again," Hills told reporters.
England have made just one change to their squad from last month's qualifiers, with Laura Bassett replacing defender Anita Asante, who has a fractured metatarsal.
