England manager Roy Hodgson has conceded that he is expecting more players to withdraw from the squad before the international friendly with Italy on Monday.
Daniel Sturridge, Adam Lallana, Luke Shaw and Fraser Forster have all already been forced to pull out of Hodgson's initial squad due to injury.
The Three Lions boss is anticipating at least "one or two" more players ruling themselves out, with James Milner, Phil Jagielka and Leighton Baines all missing training on Tuesday.
"I fear we are going to lose a few more," Hodgson told reporters.
"Already there are one or two that I know won't be able to join us against Italy because of the current problems that they are dealing with."
