Everton manager Roberto Martinez has confirmed that Phil Jagielka will not feature in England's friendly against Denmark next Wednesday due to a hamstring injury.
The defender will also miss Everton's Premier League match against West Ham United on Saturday.
Martinez told BBC Sport: "Phil has felt his hamstring over the last couple of days and will be missing at the weekend and for England."
England boss Roy Hodgson will name his squad for the friendly at Wembley later today.
