Bristol City goalkeeper David James has praised former manager Harry Redknapp and backed him to become the new England boss.
James played under Redknapp during his time at Portsmouth and believes that the Tottenham Hotspur boss would be the ideal man to replace Fabio Capello.
In an interview with BBC Sport, James described Redknapp's man-managment skills as "second to none".
James also argued that most of the squad players would prefer an English manager, saying that Redknapp "ticks every box".
Caretaker manager Stuart Pearce will lead the team in the upcoming friendly against the Netherlands.
