Southampton winger Adam Lallana has said that he is pleased to have featured for England against Denmark on Wednesday.
The 25-year-old came on for Jack Wilshere just before the hour mark during the Three Lions' 1-0 victory in the friendly international at Wembley.
"It was nice to get some minutes and a chance to impress the boss and more importantly to get the win and after two defeats," BBC Sport quotes him as saying.
"I gave it my best and that's all I can do, it's not for me to judge how well I played.
"I will go back to my club and keep performing well and working hard and hopefully I will be involved in the squad at the end of the season."
Daniel Sturridge scored the winner for England in the 81st minute.
