Scotland boss Gordon Strachan expresses his disappointment following his side's defeat to England.

Scotland manager Gordon Strachan has admitted that he was "hugely disappointed" to lose 3-2 to England in Wednesday evening's friendly clash at Wembley Stadium.

The Scots twice surrendered the lead during the match, eventually going down to a second-half strike from substitute Rickie Lambert.

"We had a problem physically in the last 20 minutes," Strachan told ITV Sport. "We were trying everything to score an equaliser. I tried to keep Shaun [Maloney] on as long as possible.

The Scotland boss went on to express his frustration at England's first goal, which Theo Walcott hit while Grant Hanley was receiving treatment off the field.

"If you look at it, when we had 11 men and in free [open] play, England couldn't score. They scored when we were down to 10 men, and they scored from set plays, which was hugely disappointing," he added.

"But there are top players in that England side. We have good players. To get great victories, we have to make no mistakes whatsoever."

Danny Welbeck was also on target for England, while James Morrison and Kenny Miller netted for Scotland.
