Aston Villa midfielder Ashley Westwood is hopeful that his time will come to prove his worth in an England shirt.
The 24-year-old has taken inspiration from Fabian Delph, who was called into the recent Three Lions squad for Euro 2016 qualifiers against San Marino and Estonia.
Westwood also believes that teammate Tom Cleverley will fight his way back into the fold with impressive performances during his loan stint at Villa from Manchester United.
"Fabian has got his England call-up and Tom is an international who I think will be back in there soon," Westwood told the club's official website.
"I'm hoping to be in there soon, too. When I spoke to Fabian about England, he said he loved it. I'm made up for him because nobody deserves it more."
Westwood has been at Villa since 2012.
