Espanyol forward Thievy Bifouma has revealed that he has spoken to French side Rennes over a possible transfer this January.
The 21-year-old has made 11 appearances for his Spanish club this season, but is still not regarded as a first-team regular with the Catalan outfit.
The Frenchman has also claimed that an asking price of little over £3m has been set for his services, with Espanyol previously demanding closer to £8m.
"It's true that I've spoken with their representatives," he told Luis Fernandez's radio programme in France.
"They have a fantastic project and it's an interesting option for me. The Espanyol management told me before that they would sell me for €10m, but now it is €4m, so that's good."
Bifouma joined Espanyol as a 17-year-old.
