Argentine midfielder Juan Forlin has left Espanyol to join Al Rayyan on a long-term contract.
The 25-year-old, who joined the Spanish outfit from Boca Juniors in 2009, made over 100 La Liga appearances during his time in Spain.
"I've good memories of Spain, my colleagues and the fans. It was my first club in Europe and since I arrived I have developed a passion for the club," he told the club's official website. "I love this club and that is why I find it hard saying goodbye."
Forlin can also operate in central defence.
