Espanyol have completed the signing of midfielder Wakaso Mubarak from Villarreal.
The 21-year-old, who made six La Liga appearances as the Yellow Submarine were relegated last season, has signed a four-year deal at Estadi Cornella-El Prat.
Mubarak is Espanyol's third signing of the summer following the additions of Diego Colotto and Sergio Tejera from Deportivo de la Coruna and Mallorca respectively.
Espanyol finished 14th in the La Liga table last season.
