Everton defender Sylvain Distin has agreed a new one-year contract at Goodison Park.
The 34-year-old's previous deal on Merseyside was set to expire this summer but manager David Moyes has opted to extend the Frenchman's stay at the club.
Distin's consistent performances last year helped Everton to a seventh-place finish and saw him named as Players' Players of the Season.
He has made 115 appearances for the Toffees since signing from Portsmouth in 2009.
