Everton defender Sylvain Distin has admitted that his side face a tough test when they travel to Swansea City this weekend.
The eighth-placed Swans have impressed during their first season back in the top flight with wins against the likes of Arsenal and Manchester City.
"They remind me a bit of Blackpool," Distin told Everton TV. "They just stick to their game plan and no matter what happens they play the way they want to play.
"They play really good, attractive football and they're succeeding with it, so it's good for them. There are no easy games, just different teams who play different ways," he said. "Swansea is going to be pretty similar to Arsenal. They are a passing team and there will be lots of movement, a lot of one-two passes.
"I'm not surprised they've played how they have because when I see what Blackpool did last season I think it's good inspiration for teams coming up like Swansea that they can carry on playing the way they do and succeed."
The Toffees won the reverse fixture 1-0 when the two sides met at Goodison Park in December.
